Featured South Region Surety Bonds
SC General and Mechanical License Bond
South Carolina requires general and mechanical contractors to obtain a license with the Contractor’s Licensing Board. A surety bond is part of the licensing process for certain contractors.
SC Registered Residential Specialty Contractor Bond
Residential specialty contractors operating in SC must be licensed and file a $5,000 bond with the Residential Builders Commission.
NC General Contractor Bond
Projects valued at $30,000 or more require the contractor to licensed and bonded with the NC Licensing Board for Contractors.
NC Auto Dealer Bond
A $50,000 is mandatory for all North Carolina licensed motor vehicle dealers.
Contract Bonds
Contractors may be required to purchase a contract bond when bidding on a project or entering into a contract to perform work for a project owner. Common types include Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds.
